Saturday, June 2, 2018, I have turned 16 years old. It's great how my birthday always falls on the days I write, I always think if I should just take the day off, but… eh, maybe another day, I’ll procrastinate on procrastinating, haha. Well I hope you’ve noticed that the font has changed, after a lot of criticism, I’ve decided that I will change to times new roman, your welcome everyone that was yelling at me, haha. Anyways I’ll discuss today where I’ll be going from today, in my writings, also my life in general, and then I’ll talk about this aging a little bit.
I've been writing since I was fourteen years old, and it'll be three years since I started writing sometime in November, so that's exciting. Besides that though, I wanna discuss the direction of the writings, from here on. I've already added a new page to the website, this year will be "The Sixteenth Gear" because, at sixteen years old, you get a driver's licence, at least in my state, so car, gear, see the connection? Yeah, and nothing much will change with my schedule, at least not that I plan, you'll still receive a new writing every Saturday morning, between 1-4am, haha. The thing I did want to talk about though, is that there will probably many "part two's" of writings you've seen. I will probably go back through the writings that I've wrote in 14, and 15 years, and revise topics I've talked about, either expand on them, or less likely, completely reboot them. Also, I think that my use of bigger words will increase, sorry for those who hate googling words haha. In my life, I don't expect much to change, I will get a driver's licence sometime this year, I'll have some egregious classes in school this year, that's gonna be hard. I'll keep thinking, keep writing, keep reading, keep shuffling cards, and yeah, there's not much to write here, things probably won't change too drastically unless I get some extraordinary idea. I want to make this last part about aging. Aging is, weird, there's a positive thought, usually for younger people, that you'll get more freedom, you'll gain more experience, and knowledge. While I believe you will gain experience and knowledge, the freedom is something you have to do for yourself, age won't do that for you. There's also negative things about aging such as senescence, it happens, things slowly ebb away from you, and it sucks. However there's a question that people don't think about. How old is old? The average lifespan of people, in America, is about 80. When you're 20, you have 60 years left, when you're 40, you have 40 years left, when you're 50, you have 30 years left. Get what I'm saying? Too many people think that life is over when they're 30, you have time, don't worry, take it slow sometimes, but still, go, go, and go, the moment you can, make the most of everything, why start at 40, if you can start at 25?
Well, happy birthday to me I suppose, I hope that you enjoyed reading, and having your eyes glide across the screen because of this new times font, again, your welcome. Haha, anyways that’s the direction things are going in, and some of my thoughts on the aging, and birthday rituals. With all of that done with, I’ll see you next week, have an amazing one, peace.
