Infatuation, a word meaning extreme, but short-lived, burst of inspiration. This post is gonna talk about some of the random infatuating thoughts I've had recently. Keeping the intro short, we're gonna talk about an aggressive, yet positive thought I've had, an impossible thing which I think may be possible, and how you are the universe.

With that really nebulous intro, let me get aggressive. Why do you hate? Why do you judge? Can you not love all, accept everything and genuinely be filled with positivity. You don't need to be happy to do this. You simply need to love, be genuine, and see the beauty in everything. We are all human. We bleed the same color. That's what we should focus on. Every single thing in this world, no this universe has beauty in it. From the blob-fish to your favorite model, they all have beauty in them (I'll write a post about beauty and its significance another time). Why do we separate ourselves: religion, color, gender, bodies, and so much more. We all bleed the same color, we are the same species, we all live on the same rock in the same universe, we should show love to each other, we shouldn't hold animosity against any human on this planet. We should learn to accept, learn to cherish, learn to help our own species. Wolves form packs, but they don't cross the territory of other packs—this has been shown through tracking wolf packs—they respect each other. If wolves can do it, so can we.

September 21. To most people this date doesn't hold significance, and many of you likely don't know what it is. September 21 is National Peace Day. A holiday observed by all members of the UN(United Nations) where there is a 22 hour ceasefire. This day was founded by a single human. One person did this, he went to every country, he talked to their leaders, he presented to them, and he got it done. Jeremy Gilley, one person got a annual cease fire to happen. One person. Imagine what a hundred people could do, what a thousand people could do. If we can have a day where countries don't fight, a single day of peace every year. Then I dare say we can have a week, a month, maybe more. I used to believe that this was never possible, an absurd utopian ideal. After hearing about this day, however, I was infatuated, I thought that maybe, just maybe, peace is achievable. I also realized, it starts with you.

The universe. The place which all humans reside, and possibly other forms of life out there. You've likely heard how people are a small spec in the bigger scheme of the universe. I'm here to tell you that statement is wrong. Within this extremely expansive universe, we as humans have come to think of ourselves as a small spec in the universe, just a tiny piece to a bigger puzzle. There's even a psychological effect known as the overview effect, which occurs within astronauts once they've gone outside into the expansive sea of darkness, and saw the blue marble known Earth. This effect causes them to feel an understanding of how small we truly are, and leaves with a beautiful feeling of infatuation. When the star that created everything imploded, however. Creating the universe as we know it, sending stardust flying through space, the core elements of the universe began to form: carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, helium, and phosphorus. These elements, along with billions of particles of stardust, came to form life, and the most active ingredients of life: carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, helium, and phosphorus. The molecules of stardust going everywhere did just that, they went everywhere. That means you too. There is stardust in you, the life you live is made up of the same elements that are most active in the universe. You are not a piece of the universe, you are not a small part of the universe. You are the universe.

These were thoughts that I've had, and thoughts that have come up in my mind in recent days. I hope you enjoyed reading about them and found some sort of closure, inspiration, or infatuation from it. Talking about how we bleed the same color and should love each other, the plausibility of peace, and how are are the universe, and conversely how the universe is you. If you think these are possible, if you believe in these and agree, then as Gandhi once said, "be the change you want to see in the world." Start acting upon it, don't just agree. Either way I appreciate you for reading all the way through, have a beautiful week, I'll see you the next peace.

"Be the change you want to see in the world" -Gandhi
