Dreams

Happy early new years! Last year I posted on new years as it happened to be a Friday, but unfortunately this year it's on a Monday. However, I want to talk about something I was requested to address, this being dreams. The meaning of having dreams, the importance of them, and some case studies, or stories of dreams. Dreams are great, I mean you imagine an amazing situation in your head while you sleep. I'm kidding, those aren't the kind of dreams we are gonna talk about today, you probably already know, but I'm talking about dreams that we have as in what we want to do with, our time, and lives. These dreams are things that we form in our minds, and as stated above, ideas that we have for what we want to spend our time on and do in our lives. In other words goals that we make for ourselves. I wanted to give the meaning of having dreams, yet these dreams give us meaning, they give us something to strive for. That leads us to the importance of dreams. These dreams are, while not completely necessary, a great way to find success, or at the very least, happiness, in life. They will give you a exact spot where you know you need to be, and in doing so will allow you to get a rough idea of the path you need to take to get there. I say rough because it may not always go as planned which is something everyone most likely knows already. Dreams will also, again, give you meaning, something to do, something to put your mind towards, and something that you can use your life doing. Because you shouldn't do what people say to, you shouldn't be what people tell you to be, you shouldn't become someone you don't want to be. "Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life."-Steve Jobs. Be who you want and do what you need to, within reason of course, don't go breaking laws, sometimes you need to listen to others haha. Your dreams are more than what you were told as a child to do, to be, which is, for many people, a very average job that makes a good income, which is what most people care about. While income is important it isn't the entire story, so don't worry about that. Chase your dreams and believe me the income will be there as well because dreams are what you truly want to do. Next let me offer you four stories that include the following of dreams. First, there were two people with a dream, a goal in life, and something they wanted to do. The thing they wanted to do was something that was impossible to humankind, flying. The Wright brothers had the thought, that they wanted to fly, they wanted to be in the air like birds, and that was their dream. Now we have airplanes, that were inspired by Orville and Wilbur Wright. Second there was one person we all know who had a dream, of course Martin Luther King Jr. Martin's dream was to end, or at the very least, help segregation in the United States. He had a dream, and he did everything he could to achieve it, and here we are today.

Speaking of today, the next two stories are a little more modern. The actors, entertainers, entrepreneurs, and youtubers Logan, and Jake Paul. First Logan; Logan Paul was in fifth grade when we injured his legs, he wrote on a piece of paper that he would succeed, that he would make it in the entertainment industry, and he did just that. He dropped out of college after graduating high school with a 4.4 GPA and set out to achieve his dreams, and now he is 22 years old and has over 34 million followers on multiple platforms, three movies, two of which are coming out next year, and content in his life, from achieving his dreams, and making and achieving more all the time. Second Jake. Jake Paul is Logan's little brother, Jake at sixteen years old was told by his teachers that he would never accomplish anything in life, that he would never get anywhere, and he would never do anything in his life. He then proceeded to dropout of high school in junior year, and pursue social media entertainment, and then acting. He made it onto Disney, which he was later fired from, after he shot a youtube red series, as well as helping Logan make one of his three movies, and also has over 23 million followers on multiple platforms. Jake also is an amazing business man as he is trying to accomplish another one of his goals, to become the youngest billionaire. He accomplished his goals and more, even though he was told he couldn't. Now both of these brothers are competing to see which of them can become the first social media billionaire. Dreams, a goal, a very important part of success and achievement in life, and people that have had dreams. These are the three things I hope you have taken away from this writing, and if you did I'm glad I could aid you in that endeavor.
