What does this title mean? In what world does “cold water” relate to something inspiring or educational in any way shape or form? I thought about it, and the answer I came up with was that it doesn’t. This title came from me filling up my water bottle at 1am with cold water while asking myself, “what do I write about this weekend?” so here we are. With that aside, I’ll be writing about what it means to be calm vs act calm, keeping a cool mind and why, and a little free talk concerning the tile some more. Calmness is defined as a state of not showing or feeling emotion, specifically nervousness, and/or anger. This is true when you are calm, the state of being calm is this state where you are void of negativity, and are drowning in serenity. However there's a different type of calm, this is acting calm. The difference between this calm and the other is simple. Remove one word from the previous definition, feeling. Acting calm is a state of not showing emotion, specifically nervousness, and/or anger. The people who'd mainly do this are leaders, people that need to remain a figure of admiration even in the most nebulous situations. Other people can do this too though, I'm not saying only leaders do this, better said would be need to do this. This is where we address why you should do it. I'm not saying don't be calm, but when you're in a tough situation, or just having an awful day, you need to put on this act of calm. As stated earlier being calm keeps you void of negative emotions, and keeps you level-headed and able to make solid more justified decisions. There's not very many cons to being calm. Another pro that many people use this as, and as XXXTENTACION put it, "master your expressions. Appear to be calm they won't read your intentions." This is true, being calm in situations will make people fear you because they don't know what's going on in your mind, and people are afraid of the unknown. This is why you should do as X said and master your expressions. If you can calm yourself down when you're mad or nervous by acting calm, you will be calm, as the expression goes, "fake it till you make it," or in this case, "fake it till you become it." and if you achieve calmness or serenity, according to Plutchik's wheel, serenity will turn into ecstasy. However, this is easier said than done, you will need to work assiduously to master your expressions, it's no easy feat. This is going to be a more random paragraph, it won't fit in with the other points I was trying to convey. "Cold Water" I said earlier I made this title up while I was filling a water bottle with cold water late in the night. With this I want to say a few things. First I'll just list creativity, and link an old writing. Then say that I came up with Cold Water, not just passively looking at my water, no, I said to myself, "I need a writing idea for this week, what's something I could write about?" and looked at the stream of water pouring into my bottle. This is an example calm thinking, I did not overthink I did not panic that I didn't have a writing, or that I had no clue whatsoever, I used that water as opportunity. With that said, there's opportunity everywhere, if you just calm down, chill out, and use your eyes, everything is an opportunity. Don't overthink, don't stress, just calm down, and look at the world through a different lens, and if you need something done and have no idea what to do, stop thinking, and just look at what's in front of you for inspiration. This world is full of opportunity, it's your job to capitalize on said opportunity.
Well that’s cool huh? Get it, cool like cold, yeah you’re smiling right now don’t lie haha. That is however the end of this one, I hope you understand calmness, why to be calm, and about this title as clear as water now, cold water to be exact. Thanks for reading to this point if you have it’s really appreciated, I think there’s 500 total views on these writings now which is insane, I’m ecstatic about that, so thanks again. Anyways, have a wonderful week, peace.
