The format of this will be much less formal than usual, I won’t propose a thesis. I will simply state my thoughts, ideas, and philosophies on this topic; the topic being procrastination. Today I will stop procrastinating on my writing of procrastination, and try to tackle the concept of procrastination, I believe I will revisit this topic on a later date. Let's start this as I usually do; procrastination is the putting off of tasks, objectives, or goals that is necessary for you to do, this task usually has a due date. This due date is the day where you, rapidly accomplish the goal (many times producing inefficient results compared to if you did it timely). While, yes, this does get the job done at the end of the day, it has a high stress build up coming closer to the due date, and also finishing your task usually takes much longer than you expected (that's another writing). Procrastination is not recommended by anyone successful or myself. As Caleb Maddix always says, "the gun that kills the most dreams is the gonna." Don't use the 'gonna' it'll kill your dreams, because the due date of your dream is the day you die, and at that point, you will not have the time to accomplish your goal. From this point, this writing will mostly focus on procrastinating on your dreams, not your history project, haha. This is where I get a little aggressive; If you keep saying that you will, that you're gonna, that you'll do it tomorrow, let me tell you something. You will not do it. I can look you in the eyes and confidently say that you are 99% of the population, you will not get off of your couch and chase your dreams, because you're procrastinating, because you'll, "do it tomorrow." With that said, let's be honest. You're not gonna do it. It will not, you aren't gonna, you won't do it tomorrow. Face it, so if you are not doing it, what is gonna change? Because you're not, even if you know how to change, you'll do it 'tomorrow.' Just drop it, don't even tell yourself that you're gonna do it, it'll demoralize you slowly, and you'll be mad at yourself for why you don't, so for your own protection, because you won't do it, I'm gonna tell you to just stop telling yourself you will, because there is no tomorrow. 'There is no tomorrow' is a philosophy I first stumbled upon while talking to someone in a rut, it was about what he was 'going' to do. While this philosophy could probably be improved this is what I have to say for now. Tomorrow isn't a thing. You will not do it tomorrow, because there is no tomorrow. The past is a compilation of moments that have already gone by. The present is the moment you are living in right now at this very millisecond. The future isn't something that's happened yet, and isn't happening now, so it isn't a thing, so if you're gonna do it tomorrow then you're not gonna do it at all, so again, drop it. You will not do it tomorrow, you will do it now, or you will not do it at all, which will you do now. That's where I'm gonna leave it off, I felt that this had to be a little bit more aggressive of a writing because procrastination isn't going to change by being nice, you need a shove, not a push, to get you out of your habit of procrastinating. Like Warren Buffett said, "the chains of habit are too weak to be felt, until they are too strong to be broke." I've written this quote many times, hopefully you know it by now, haha. Besides that, I hope you did enjoy reading this different style, I really enjoyed writing it, next week it should be back to normal, and yeah, that's it, have an amazing week, I'll see you on the next one, peace.
