I'll apologize quickly that this is a little late, I will not give excuses, I will just apologize, thank you for understanding. Besides that, this post is about stretching, if you didn't already guess. More specifically what stretching does for you, physical stretching, and of course, mental stretching. Stretching is something that we all do innately, especially in the morning, we intuit it. You start to feel looser, and more awake. This is because stretching increases your circulation, more blood will flow into your joints, and will improve the range of motion of the muscles you stretch. Along with that, stretching reduces stress, enhances coordination, and results in better posture. Posture results in a more overt sense of confidence, and other stuff, we'll save that for another time though. Stretching however, is more than just the physical things, stretching is a way of priming to get the best, most effective, and most productive results. Physical stretching, athletes stretch their muscles in preparation of games and practice. Probably for the reasons mentioned above. Along with the fact that stretching has been shown to increase power and speed, and reduce chance of injury. However, this only happens when you stretch with more warm and pliable muscles (which happens will be the case after you exercise), not really before exercise when your muscles are colder, this could result in injury, anyways, remember to stretch. I say this assuming you exercise, and if you don't. Start. Exercise is not only good for your physical health, elongating your life, and feeling better about yourself. It also is good for you spiritually; regular exercise has time and time again been proven to increase levels of happiness in people. Along with the release of neurotransmitters that aid in positive feelings and emotions, endorphins will also help boost your mood. With all of that said. Exercise, it's good for you. That transitions into mental stretching. Stretching your brain, taps into the definition I provided, "a way of priming to get the best, most effective, and most productive results." This applies to your brain, you need to use it, stretch it, and make sure that your brain is powerful, and quick, and also that it doesn't get injured, because it can get injured. Things like meditating, writing, simple thinking, just using your brain, and the mind in it. "This is assuming you use your brain." I'm not gonna say anything, I really, really hope you use your brain. Please, please use your brain, thank you. With all of that said, the brain is a muscle, like the other muscles stretch, it will help improve the muscle, and/or group of muscles. I hope that this post helped inspire you to stretch, and the importance of physical and mental stretching. Again, sorry for the late post. I love you, you're not alone, I hope you have an amazing week, I'll see you the next, peace. Original
