Demons are beings, entities, things, that want to cause you pain, for no other reason than to see you suffer. They don't get anything from hurting you, they just enjoy to see it. People can be demons, but the demons that most of us know go by common names: depression, anxiety, chronic stress, addiction, insomnia.

I've been thinking a lot about demons, mostly because of my recent run in with Mr. Insomnia. Haven't had the problem in three years, but past few weeks the guy has come back and decided to give me a visit which has decimated my sleep schedule. But hopefully, I'll be able to fight the bugger off sooner than later.

Which is what you have to do. These demons wage wars in your head, they only wish to cause you pain, as such if you want them to stop, you have to fight them. Sometimes the fight is quick and a few moves will stop them. Other times, you wage a full-on war that goes on in your head for years, heck, it could even kill you physically, and many people do die to these wars yearly.

With that said, it's more than possible to fight these demons. I've seen many beat the demon of depression and anxiety, I'm reading a book about someone who beat incredible addiction, and I've ridden myself of insomnia in the past.

As long as you have the right tools, allies, and strategies, you can win any battle, whether it be a fight or a war, you can win. So if you know any of these demons, or have any of your own, as long as you fight to win, you can win, and if you are fighting to win in one of these battles or wars, I wish you luck.
