Dedication is something most people will go promise to do, and yet many don't understand it, with this I wanna try to help with that. An example of this is marriage, marriage is dedicating the rest of your life to another human being. However in America divorce rates are 50%, people were not able to dedicate themselves to their marriage. I do understand that marriage is a more complex subject but that's a simple example. Today I will write about what dedication is, how it will appear in your life, the troubles of dedication, and how to use dedication to succeed.
Dedication is when you are completely committed to something. This something will take precedence over everything else in your life, and it's something you incessantly work on. People often forget that you need to work on it, it's not just something you do flatly, you're trying to go up, trying to improve, to get better. Dedication isn't always easy it's not always easy to commit to something, you get distracted, you have to forget about certain things that provide you with pleasure to work on this thing you've dedicated yourself to, like skipping a party, or gathering, to continue improving at this thing, so that you can come out with a beautiful picture. Dedication will appear in your life, your brain is wired to start love doing something that provides you with an award, this will happen when you're younger because usually you have more time to do more things. If the brain gets a surge of dopamine after you do something, your brain will say, 'hey go do it again.' This is how people get addicted to drugs. However, if you get addicted to something with less negative consequences, and there's easy access you will continue doing it, until you get burnt out, or you hit puberty, then your brain goes haywire but that's a different topic. There will be things you in your life you do once and you will be inclined to do again, usually this is temporary, but other times you will find something that you can continue to do for the rest of your life. Going back to how dedication isn't easy, as stated in the definition, this something takes precedence over everything else in life. It's really hard to turn things away and keep working on something. Musicians I listen to often have lyrics saying that instead of partying and drinking they sat in their rooms and kept writing, kept singing, kept working on their craft. They were dedicated to their music. Once you find something you love, once you find something that you can do continuously, you should dedicate yourself to it. You need to be ready for other things to decline, you need to be willing to let things go to work on this. Because if you can continue to do it, if you can master it, you can do this for a living, you can do this to support yourself and others, and be happy while doing it. These two things are what everyone says they want, but not many people can achieve.
People quit being dedicated because the world says, you might fail if you continue to do that. I can tell you the world is right, you will fail. The world however doesn't tell you this. Failure is good, failure is necessary, failure is a step you need to take to be successful. Albert Einstein was wrong over a thousand times, once he said that black holes cannot and should not exist. They do exist, and they come from big stars exploding, he was wrong. You can mess up, you can fail, as long as you learn from it, as long as you use to to help you, you will succeed. Don't let the words of others deter you from the things you're dedicated to. Keep at it, and with the correct habits you will succeed with it. I'm not saying it's easy though. Painting this picture is going to kill your arm, it's going to hurt, but at the end of it, you'll be left with a picture that is beyond beautiful to you and others, but that's only if you finish. That's all for this week, I hope you enjoyed, and don't dedicate yourself to something without being ready to accept the consequences. Anyways, if I wrote this well, you should understand what dedication entails, how it might appear in your life, one of it's hardships, and accepting the failure that comes if you want to turn what your dedicated to into a living. With that all said, have a wonderful week, and if you celebrate Easter, have a great Easter, and peace. Original
