How often do you complain? Some people likely take a moment and conclude, "not that much." Those people are lying, some people will openly admit that they complain all the time, those people are respectable and honest, and some people without any thought say they don't complain, those people are honest, but you wanna avoid them because they don't know how to talk. I'm in the last category if you couldn't tell. Which some people may look at and think, "you don't complain at all? No way, not possible." In which case, you're right, I complain about stupid things in the presence of other people in order to make them laugh. For humor's sake, I complain, however, I don't complain in the sense that I genuinely look at something and think, "ugh, this sucks." or anything of the sorts. It's not because I think I'm cooler than everyone and I'm this insane monk that doesn't complain, there are logical reasons that I don't.

To summarize, before I get into an explanation, I don't complain because it's a waste of my breath and my brainpower. Let's run through some cases. First, let's say you complain about something, ask yourself, why are you complaining? Because you don't want to do something? Because you don't like something? Because you want something to be different?

If you don't want to do something, here's your solution: don't do it. Some people hear this, "but I have to otherwise..." Ok, then do it. You're gonna have to do it anyway, so what does complaining achieve? Yeah, you waste your breath and lose brainpower, as well as time, stop complaining, it's just gonna make the thing take longer to do, especially if your brain is in a mode of, "I don't want to do this," your effort will show that, and the lesser the effort, the worse the product and the more the time.

If you don't like something, ask yourself, can you actually change it? If you're mad at a videogame mechanic, can you magically change it? No, you can send a tweet to the developers, saying why something sucks and how they could go about fixing it, but directly, you cannot change it, stop complaining it's not gonna get you anywhere, you're wasting your breath, just get better at the game. If you can actually change it, then two things: go change it, shut up, stop complaining and start doing, two, refer to the previous situation, if you don't want to do it, don't do it, and don't complain, you're wasting your breath.

Do you want something different? This relates to the last situation, if you want something to be different, something to change, change it bro. You have power, you can do whatever you want, if you dislike something, if something makes you angry, get up and change it, don't sit there and wallow, you're not helping yourself or anyone else.

That's why I don't complain. After complaining for a while, I tortured myself by asking myself those questions every time some sort of complaint arose within me, and after getting frustrated with the answers of the questions, I slowly evolved and adapted to not make the complaints, and unless I'm making someone laugh, that's how it remains, makes life simpler, I highly recommend it.
